The toll is charged to all heavy goods vehicles with a maximum
admissible weight of 12 tons or more, based on the distance travelled.
The ITS Group, through UTA, will enable you to pay the German road tolls
in an easy and simple way to the German consortium “Toll Collect” who is
in charge of collecting the toll on behalf of the German federal
government.
After your registration, which is free of charge, the German motorway
operator Toll Collect gives you a card for each vehicle – which contains
all toll-relevant data.
This will save you time when manually logging on at the toll terminal.
The vehicle data will not have to be entered individually for each
booking.
Registration is required for participation in the automatic toll
booking system and for the manual booking via the internet.
Registration does not make the installation of an On Board Unit (OBU)
mandatory.
Listed below you will find the steps for the registration. An extra
service, which UTA offers you, is that you can fill out all registration
forms on your computer. Simply fill out the forms, print and sign them,
and send them back to the address below.
